Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics position requiring an active CA RN license and NRP certification.

Details

• Work in the Obstetrics Acute unit of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36-48 hours per week
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty within the last 3 months
• EPIC or Cerner experience must be documented in employment history

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans
• Implement care plans and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane care
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
• No radius restriction for candidate eligibility
