Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics position requiring an active CA RN license and NRP certification.
Details
- Work in the Obstetrics Acute unit of an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36-48 hours per week
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty within the last 3 months
- EPIC or Cerner experience must be documented in employment history
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans
- Implement care plans and evaluate patient progress toward outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane care
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Delegate duties appropriately among healthcare team members
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
- No radius restriction for candidate eligibility
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
