Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and EPIC proficiency for a day shift role at a critical access hospital.

Details

• 25-bed critical access hospital setting
• Physical Therapy unit providing outpatient and inpatient services
• Day shift schedule, Wednesday through Sunday, 5x8s from 8:30am to 5pm
• No call requirements
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if licensed on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient and inpatient physical therapy required
• Current Physical Therapy license in state of practice required
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy interventions
• Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care
• Establishes and communicates individualized care and discharge plans
• Completes accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
• Supervises assigned physical therapy assistants
• Required vaccinations must be maintained annually as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be considered
• No radius rule applies, and local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
