Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and CA licensure.

Details

  • Located in the Emergency Department of a 25-bed critical access hospital
  • Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
  • S.T.A.B.L.E certification required
  • TNCC certification preferred
  • BSN preferred
  • Acute care facility experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of recent ER experience within the last 3 months

Additional Information

  • Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
  • Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff across various levels
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care
  • Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning to support continuity of care
  • Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
  • Local candidates accepted with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates
  • Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will not be considered
  • Candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered
