Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring ACLS certification and hands-on EPIC EMR experience.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a cardiovascular care department
- Day shift schedule with flexible options of 4x10s or 3x12s (0700-1630 or 0630-1700)
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice required
- OR RN license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- EPIC EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care across disciplines
- Collects and analyzes patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans
- Implements care plans, coordinates care delivery, and evaluates patient progress toward outcomes
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and compassionate care
- Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning for continuity of care
- Delegates duties appropriately among healthcare team members
- Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
