Description

American Traveler is seeking a CA-licensed RN OR Circulator with 1+ years of operating room experience and expertise in ortho, neuro, and trauma cases.

Details

• Surgery unit position functioning as an OR Circulator
• Day/Evening shift, 5x8s, Monday-Friday 0600-2030 with openness to 4x10 schedules
• Schedule and start times rotate
• Call required at least one night per week and one weekend per schedule, with potential for more based on need

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year of full-time operating room experience required
• Ortho, Neuro, and Trauma surgical experience required
• EPIC experience required

Additional Information

• Facility is a county-designated trauma center with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Assists surgeons and anesthesiologists while coordinating equipment, supplies, and staff flow during surgical procedures
• Applies aseptic technique and ensures patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care
• Performs pre, intra, and post-procedure patient care planning and assessment
• Handles and disposes of biohazardous materials per established protocols
• Documents tissue/allograft temperature and verifies package integrity per manufacturer guidelines
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Candidates with any prior adverse action on their nursing license will not be considered
• No radius restriction applies, and local candidates receive the same pay rate as travelers
