Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and IN or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Adult Intensive Care Unit (AICU) within a hospital setting, 30-bed unit
- Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 depending on acuity
- Cares for patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, substance abuse disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric disorders
- Utilizes Alaris Pumps, Arctic Sun, Prismaflex, and EV 1000 equipment
- Epic EMR used for charting
- 3x12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend (Sat/Sun) required
- Floating required to other patient care areas during low census
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (Indiana or compact) required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Comprehensive assessment skills required
- Experience caring for septic patients and mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices required
- CRRT and Epic experience preferred
- No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Team-oriented environment requiring a positive attitude, flexibility, and empathy
- Orientation includes modules completed on first day, Epic training if needed, and one day of unit orientation
- Navy scrub color required; hoodies and non-facility sweatshirts not permitted
- Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced bill rate
