Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care position requiring an active HI RN license and at least 2 years of experience.

Details

Long Term Care unit located on-site of a hospital
Varied 8-hour shift scheduling across Days (0730-1530), Evenings (1500-2330), and Nights (2300-0730)
Weekend and holiday coverage required
OT rotation may be required
No guarantee of hours or shift preference

Requirements

Active HI RN license required, or must apply for one upon acceptance of offer and obtain by start of assignment
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required

Additional Information

Perform patient assessments, treatments, and medication administration
Notify MD/NP of pertinent patient information
Handle admissions and discharges and assist with ADLs
Provide gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vac care, and CPAP care
Must arrive on-site the Friday prior to a Monday start to complete employee health and HR clearance with no exceptions
All compliance documents must be completed and uploaded at least one week before start date
Must have RN license in hand for employee health/HR appointment
