Description

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 3+ years of experience and Epic EMR proficiency for a community hospital setting with Level I trauma designation.

Details

• Community hospital setting with Level I trauma center designation (Level II preferred)
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift, 3x12 hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Work settings include adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, ICU, and pediatric acute care
• Utilizes GE and Philips ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• Epic EMR experience required
• May be required to float between sister facilities within the region

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience required
• ARDMS or CCI and ARRT Sonography certification required
• BLS certification required
• Compact license must be active and in hand at time of consideration, if applicable
• Community hospital experience required
• Level I trauma experience required; Level II preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency in adult echo, 3-D echo, bubble study, imaging with contrast agents, M-mode, pharmacologic stress echo, RVIT, RVOT, TEE, and treadmill stress echo
• Pediatric echo and portable studies experience preferred
• Ability to perform isolation precautions/PPE, obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG, and conduct procedures in ICU/ED settings
• First-time travelers accepted

Additional Information

• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced bill rate
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years are required
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including dates and location, if applicable
