Description

American Traveler is hiring a Neuro Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a BSN and stroke unit experience.

Details

• Neuro Med/Surg unit (4 North) within a hospital setting, 24 beds
• Staffing includes charge RN, staff RNs, techs, and HUC support
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Uses Sara Steady lift equipment
• Documents using Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule, 7P-7A
• On-call rotation required
• No floating requirement
• Typical procedures include EEGs, EKGs, and bladder scanning

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license
• BSN required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• 1 year of recent experience in Neuro Med/Surg required
• Stroke specialty experience preferred
• Management experience of 3+ years preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months
