Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of experience and the ability to read tele strips.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital nursing float pool
• 12-hour night shift schedule (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• No call requirements
• Floating required as needed within a 25-mile policy between facilities
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, including 1 year of travel experience
• Must be able to read telemetry strips and document in the EMR
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Strong teamwork and reliability expected
• Scrubs may be any color as long as they do not display offensive language
• Flip flops, shorts, and t-shirts are not acceptable attire
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any facility are considered local and are not eligible for renewals or extensions
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
• Candidates who have worked at any facility within the past 12 months must disclose this during consideration
