Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a day shift travel position requiring fetal heart monitoring certification and 5 years' experience.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit with 13 beds
• Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 varying based on acuity
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• No 48-hour scheduling option available
• No block scheduling offered
• No floating required
• EMR systems include Medhost and Centricity Perinatal, transitioning to Cerner

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• NRP and AWHONN certification in fetal heart monitoring required
• 5 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Circulating C-section experience required, with transition experience desired
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start

Additional Information

• Caribbean blue scrub color required
• Block holiday coverage required
• RTO requests must be submitted with the initial submission and must be less than 1 week
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
