Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring CA licensure, ACLS/PALS certification, and Epic experience.

Details

• Medical ICU unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule of 36 or 48 hours per week (6:30 PM-7:00 AM)
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Current PALS certification (AHA or ARC) required
• Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
• Candidates must have no more than 5 days of requested RTO

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient or group of patients following established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans
• Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe healing environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe and compassionate care
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients, families, and team members
