Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring an active MT or compact RN license and prior L&D experience.

Details

Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics unit within a hospital setting
Monitors maternal and fetal well-being, manages labor progression, and assists with deliveries
Performs cervical exams within scope, interprets fetal monitoring strips, and prepares patients for operative deliveries
Administers medications and provides postpartum education
Responds to obstetric emergencies as needed
Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week

Requirements

Active MT or compact RN license required
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE
Experience in Labor & Delivery required

Additional Information

Provides safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care to achieve high standards for L&D and Obstetrics patients
Offers emotional support to patients and families during labor and delivery
Plays a key role in promoting positive birth experiences and optimal outcomes for mother and newborn
