Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist for a Level I Trauma cardiac cath lab, requiring 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and ARRT/BLS certification.
Details
- Acute care setting within a Level I Trauma cardiac cath lab
- 3 main procedure rooms, 1 dedicated EP lab, and 1 hybrid lab supporting both vascular and cardiac cases
- Caseload of 10-25 cases per day
- Patient population includes interventional cardiology, EP, and peripheral vascular cases such as Mitraclip, TAVR, IABP, and EMTALA placements
- EMR/charting systems used include Cerner and Xper
- Uses Philips and Siemens equipment with Philips telemetry monitoring
- 12-hour day shifts plus call coverage
- Call requirement of 8-12 days per month with a 30-minute response time
- Holiday coverage required as part of rotation
- Charge nurse on staff with 24/7 RT and pharmacy support
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience required
- Current ARRT and BLS certification required
- Must be qualified to scrub as an ARRT-certified technologist
- Level I Trauma experience required
- Cerner and Xper EMR experience required
- AZ license required if applicable

- 2-day floor-specific orientation provided
- Scrubs provided
- Works alongside circulating and scrub rad techs who have 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and also cover Endo and CVOR
- Travel RN teams are not accepted for this Cath Lab position
- Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the facility, verified by driver's license address
