Description
American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Respiratory Therapist for a busy Level I Trauma pediatric hospital, requiring 2+ years of recent RRT experience and Epic charting experience.
Details
- Busy pediatric hospital setting with Level I Trauma designation
- Night shift, 3x12 hour schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Must float to sister facilities including Hughes Spaulding, Egleston, and AMBH, as well as ED and ICU units
- Holiday coverage required
- Minimal to no RTO available
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential with proof of certification required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA only) certifications required
- GA Respiratory Care Professional license required - license required if applicable
- Copy of diploma or associate degree program with RRT credentials required
- Minimum 2 years of recent RRT experience required
- Pediatric experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Intermediate to advanced flowmeter (FM) skills required
- Ventilator management, triage, and Level I Trauma experience required
- Knowledge of V-60, Servo-i, Drager, Hamilton T-1, Vapotherm, and Optiflow equipment required
- Two professional references from supervisor level or higher completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory care services within a pediatric critical care and trauma environment
- Facility is a nicotine-free campus and tests for cotinine/nicotine
- First-time travelers are accepted if resume demonstrates the needed skills
- Compliance hard document deadline is 7 business days prior to start with no exceptions
- Candidates must complete labs and license verification within specified timeframes after offer to avoid rescission
