Description

American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a seasonal travel assignment requiring a Colorado or compact RN license and at least one year of recent PACU experience.

Details

• Work in a 27-bed PACU unit within a hospital setting
• Unit staffed with RNs including day shift charge RNs and night shift coverage
• Patient ratios estimated at 4 patients in preop and 1-2 patients in PACU (not guaranteed)
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Procedures include blocks, ortho, spine, neurology, interventional radiology, ENT, general surgery, GI, vascular, and colorectal cases
• Shift schedule 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• On-call requirement of one weekend call shift per month

Requirements

• Active RN license (Colorado or Compact) required
• Minimum 1 year of current PACU experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• CPAN, CAPA, or critical care experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
