Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of diagnostic and interventional cardiology experience for a day-shift assignment in an interventional cardiology unit.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab department within a 90-bed acute care facility
• Adult patient population with a focus on interventional cardiology
• Cath lab staff also cover stress testing, TEE, and tilt table testing
• Uses GE equipment and Cerner EMR
• Day shift schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• On-call responsibilities exceeding 12 days per month
• Occasional floating to Interventional Radiology (IR)

Requirements

• RN or Scrub Tech role with RRT or RCIS certification required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• AHA certifications required
• Preferred experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP, and pre/post unit care
• Experience treating coronary artery disease (CAD) preferred
• Strong team player mentality

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Local candidates within the radius may be considered at a reduced local rate
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
