Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics position requiring Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and NRP certification on night shift.

Details

• Work in the Obstetrics Acute unit of a critical access medical center
• Night shift schedule, 3x12, 36 hours per week (6:30 PM-7:00 AM)
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state of practice required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• S.T.A.B.L.E certification required
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent OB specialty experience within the last 3 months
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to OB patients while supervising and directing assigned nursing staff
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team on patient care planning and discharge coordination
• Provide health education and information to patients and family members
• Vaccinations required as a condition of employment per facility policy
• No radius restriction; local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates
• Candidates requesting more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered
• Travelers may only work at one hospital within the health system at a time
