Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist - Special Procedures with 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT-R certification for a Level 2 Trauma Center.

Details

• Interventional Platform unit with 4 procedure rooms (pre/post area staffed separately)
• Patient types include non-invasive and invasive IR procedures, biopsies, and peripheral interventions
• Procedure room staffed with 2 nurses and 1 tech
• Uses EPIC and MERGE charting systems
• 8-hour day shift schedule, 0730-1630, 40 hours per week
• Weekend rotation and holiday coverage on a call-only basis
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
• Active BLS (AHA), ACLS, ARRT-R, and IEMA certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to scrub and record during procedures
• Peripheral intervention experience highly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Candidate DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
• At least one professional reference dated within the last year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

Additional Information

• Facility is a 176-bed Level 2 Trauma Center with Level 2 NICU, Magnet Designation, and Primary Stroke Center status
• 1-3 days of unit orientation provided
• Procedural-colored scrubs required and provided by facility
• Free parking available on-site
• Up to 7 days off can be approved
• First-time travelers considered upon review
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restrictions
• Former Advocate Health employees must have been separated for at least 12 months to be eligible for travel assignments
