Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a California RN license, ACLS certification, and EPIC EMR experience.
Details
- Cath Lab unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call coverage required from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
- EPIC EMR experience required
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted CA RN license required
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Minimum of 3 years of recent Cath Lab experience required, within the last 3 months
- BSN preferred
- Prior acute care facility experience preferred
- EPIC and Cerner experience must be documented in employment history
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
Additional Information
- Delivers coordinated nursing care based on established standards and the nursing process
- Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff
- Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care
- Provides patient and family education and participates in discharge planning
- Delegates tasks appropriately among healthcare team members
- Located in Tulare, California, near Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks
- Required vaccinations per facility policy, with medical or religious exemptions considered
- Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as traveling candidates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
