Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position at a Level III high-risk facility, requiring an active NJ or compact license and willingness to float among five hospitals.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit within a Level III high-risk hospital
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 to 19:00
• Float to the HROB unit as needed, which includes 16 rooms caring for early inductions, antepartum, and continuous monitoring patients
• Required to float within a network of five hospitals (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL) based on staffing needs
• Works every other weekend and every other holiday
• Block scheduling is not permitted

Requirements

• Active RN license (NJ or Compact) in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of the assignment start date
• Minimum of 2.5 years of Labor and Delivery experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing, on a PC only, with a maximum of two attempts
• Nursys verification must be dated within 2 weeks of submission reflecting an active NJ or Compact license

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for antepartum and high-risk antepartum patients
• Complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing
• Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations are required with no exemptions
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration, with no requests accepted afterward and none during the first week of the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital are subject to the local pay rate
