Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification and Epic experience.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit in an acute care hospital setting
• LDRP model of care
• Day shift, rotating hours from 0700-1930, 36 hours per week
• No call requirements
• Requires Epic EMR experience

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required on hire and renewed every two years
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Additional Information

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as part of the professional nursing role
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care duties
• Position is represented by CNA (California Nurses Association)
• Participate in shared governance and hospital committees
• Maintain compliance with all professional, regulatory, and hospital policies
• Local candidates accepted with rates equal to travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered
