Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring CA licensure, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring, and prior L&D experience.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit following an LDRP model
• 36 hours per week on night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating shifts
• No call requirements
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• 2 years of recent acute care RN experience required

Additional Information

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care as part of the professional nursing team
• Coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate patient care responsibilities
• Participate in shared governance and hospital committees
• Adhere to hospital and regulatory nursing practice standards
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
• Candidates with a prior disciplinary action on their license will not be considered
• No radius restriction applies, and local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
