Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Operating Room Circulator with a CA RN license, OR circulating experience, and EPIC proficiency.

Details

• Surgery unit setting performing OR circulating duties
• Variable 4x10 shift schedule, Monday through Friday, rotating between 0630-1700, 0830-1900, and 1030-2100
• Requires 1-2 nights per week with on-call responsibilities
• Requires coverage of 1 weekend per month
• Utilizes EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Prior OR circulating experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred

Additional Information

• Assists surgeons and anesthesiologists while coordinating equipment, supplies, and staff flow during surgical procedures
• Ensures patient safety throughout all phases of perioperative care
• Applies aseptic technique principles consistently during procedures
• Prepares patients for surgery including proper anatomical positioning
• Safely operates all OR equipment and handles biohazardous materials per protocol
• Documents tissue/allograft handling and verifies package integrity per manufacturer guidelines
• Accesses facility information systems to support patient care documentation
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will be automatically declined
• Candidates with any prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
• No radius restriction applies, and local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
