Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Operating Room for a Level 1 trauma center position requiring prior travel experience and a high skills checklist rating including neuro and vascular competencies.

Details

• Operating Room unit within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
• 10-hour day shift schedule, 4 shifts per week
• Call, weekend, and holiday coverage required
• No block scheduling available
• Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Must be competent using Outlook, Workday, and Shift Wizard applications

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• High rating on skills checklist required, including neuro and vascular competencies
• Proven success in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments required
• Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations required
• Background in high-volume hospitals with diverse and severe cases required
• Must have personal electronics to access required scheduling and communication apps

Additional Information

• Provide OR nursing care within a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center handling complex and challenging cases
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as the travel rate
• Candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
