Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a high-volume breast imaging center, requiring 2+ years of recent specialty experience and ARRT-Mammo certification.
Details
- Work in a dedicated Women's Breast Care Center performing high-volume imaging services
- Extremely high-volume department seeing approximately 100 patients per day
- Imaging services include Breast Ultrasound, Bone Density, Mammograms, and breast biopsy procedures
- Uses Hologic mammography equipment
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- ARRT-Mammo certification and AHA BLS required
- License required if applicable
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience within the mammography specialty
- Experience with Hologic mammography equipment preferred
- At least one prior travel assignment preferred due to high patient volume and complexity
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Perform mammography imaging along with breast ultrasound, bone density scans, and breast biopsy procedures
- Returning staff who previously worked at this facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after acceptance
