Description
American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN for a night shift surgical unit position requiring at least two years of experience and multiple certifications.
Details
- Surgical unit setting providing direct care to adult pre- and post-surgical patients
- Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week
- Assignment length of 20 weeks
- Floating to other departments required where qualified
Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license required
- Minimum two years of nursing experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- CRASE training required if assignment extends beyond six months
Additional Information
- Responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Initiates computerized Plan of Care upon patient admission
- Provides age-specific, culturally sensitive, and psychosocial patient care
- Supports hospital mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures
- Participates in required education for DNV programs as applicable to the position
