Description
American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and a Texas OT license for a hospital rehabilitation unit in Waco, TX.
Details
- Inpatient occupational therapy/rehabilitation setting
- 5x8 schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- AM shift
- 13-week assignment
- Located in the Central Texas Region
Requirements
- Active Texas OT license required, if applicable
- Current BLS certification (AHA only) required
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient occupational therapy experience required
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or Master's degree with less than 1 year of experience
- Mandatory flu shot with no exemptions granted
Additional Information
- Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients while modifying therapy programs and goals as needed
- Perform thorough and timely clinical documentation and accurate charge entry
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide education to patients, families, and staff
- Supervise support staff, students, and volunteers
- Black scrubs required
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
