Description

American Traveler is hiring a Lead Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and lead experience for a day-shift assignment.

Details

• Mammography department in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Procedures include 3-D mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, digital mammography, and stereotactic biopsy
• Uses Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment
• Epic EMR experience required
• May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted site

Requirements

• ARRT (M), ARRT (R), and BLS certifications required
• WA state radiology license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Lead or management experience required
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Experience with digital quality assurance procedures, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Bone Density-DEXA and breast ultrasound skills preferred
• Must provide all MQSA required documents

Additional Information

• Perform mammography procedures including 3-D imaging, diagnostic and screening mammograms, and stereotactic biopsies
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including as permanent staff, traveler, or registry/per-diem
• Former Providence permanent employees may return as travelers after a 3-month separation period, provided they are not within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a lower bill rate
• First-time travelers are not considered for this role
