Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active NJ or compact RN license and Epic charting experience.
Details
- Work in the Delivery Room unit of a hospital setting
- PM shift, 7a-7p, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Floating as needed, including to a sister hospital nearby
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active NJ or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Deliver direct patient care to the labor and delivery population, performing systematic and comprehensive assessments
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of nursing care and patient progress
- Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including use of two patient identifiers and safe transfer techniques
- Provide patient and family education throughout the continuum of care
- Local candidates accepted
- Travelers may stay on assignment up to one calendar year from the initial start date before requiring a break
