Description
American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for the Emergency Department offering a 3x12 mid-shift schedule and requiring 2+ years of large ED experience with an active IN or compact RN license.
Details
- Emergency Services department in a 65-bed ED
- Patient ratios: Shock 2:1, Core 4:1, Psych 3:1, Exam 6:1
- Schedule consists of 3x12-hour mid-shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- Required to work every other weekend
- No on-call or holiday coverage required
- Floating required according to skill set
- Utilizes Alaris Pumps, Phillips Monitors, Belmont Rapid Infuser, and Rover devices
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (IN or Compact) required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Previous experience in a large ED setting required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- EKG testing required as part of the qualification process

- Fast-paced environment requiring strong critical thinking and adaptability to fluctuating patient volumes
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are accepted at a reduced pay rate
