Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology position requiring ARRT(R) certification and at least 1 year of experience.
Details
- Work in the Interventional Radiology department
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekend call required
- Utilizes PACS system and Siemens imaging equipment
- Epic experience preferred
- Involves outpatient and ICU settings, including C-arm procedures, contrast studies, and ablations
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology
- ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
- Utah license required (pending license accepted, must be in hand prior to start); license required if applicable
- Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Skilled in venous access, central line care, and PICC line management
- Experience with angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, biopsy, and drainage procedures
- Experience with vascular, neurological, genitourinary, and cardiac cath lab procedures
- Skills in TIPS, dialysis graft interventions, carotid stenting, and thrombolysis/thrombectomy preferred
Additional Information
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, embolizations, stent placements, and vascular studies
- Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Previous full-time employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers
- Advise the recruiter of any time-off needs prior to contract start
- Open to first-time travelers
