Description

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience and required BLS, ACLS, ARRT, RCIS certifications for a role at a teaching hospital.

Details

• Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 599 staffed beds
• Cardiac Cath Lab department treating diagnoses such as chest pain, NSTEMI, STEMI, valve disease, and pulmonary hypertension
• Procedures include left/right heart catheterization, CTO, complex PCI, peripheral and complex peripheral interventions, and carotid stent placement
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Weekend shifts required, approximately one weekend shift per 4-week schedule
• On-call requirement of 7-9 call shifts per month, including weekend call
• No floating within scope or to sister facilities required
• Cerner EMR preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT and RCIS certification required
• FL state license required, if applicable
• Scrub and EKG skills required
• Experience with balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left/right heart catheterization, and Rotablader procedures required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
