Description

American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist with 1+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment requiring AZ licensure.

Details

• Inpatient hospital rehabilitation setting
• 4x10 schedule, Monday through Thursday, with shift options of 8a-6p or 7a-5p
• Weekend shifts required
• Caseload of 6-8 patients per day
• MedHost EMR used for documentation

Requirements

• Active OT license in AZ required (license required if applicable)
• BS in Occupational Therapy or higher required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience or ability to function independently
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start

Additional Information

• Facilitate development and rehabilitation of physically disabled patients to maximize functional status
• Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs
• Participate in discharge planning, performance improvement initiatives, and administrative duties
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Returning employees who worked as permanent staff at this facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
