Description

American Traveler is hiring an Inpatient Occupational Therapist with 1+ years of experience to provide rehabilitative care in an acute hospital setting.

Details

• Inpatient occupational therapy setting
• Caseload of 6-8 patients per day
• Schedule Monday through Thursday 8a-5p and Friday 8a-1p
• Weekend shifts required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• MedHost EMR used for inpatient documentation

Requirements

• Current OT license in AZ required if applicable
• BS in Occupational Therapy or higher
• Minimum 1 year of recent OT experience or ability to function independently
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Evaluate, plan, implement, and modify age-appropriate treatment programs for hospitalized patients
• Participate in discharge planning and performance improvement initiatives
• Perform administrative duties and pursue ongoing professional growth
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Previous CHS facility staff not eligible if employed as permanent staff within the past 2 years
