Description

American Traveler is hiring a Level III NICU RN for a night shift position requiring micro preemie and high frequency ventilation experience with every weekend availability.

Details

• Level III NICU setting practicing couplet care with a Stork RN on each shift
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:00)
• Every weekend required plus one weekday shift
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required among five hospitals within skillset (Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL)
• Block scheduling not permitted
• Epic experience preferred

Requirements

• Active NJ or Compact RN license required, verified via Nursys within 2 weeks of submission
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date
• 2-3 years of NICU experience required, with recent experience within the last 12 months
• Level III NICU experience required
• Experience with micro preemies and high frequency ventilation required
• All licenses and certifications must be active and in hand, pending credentials not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care to NICU patients including micro preemies requiring high frequency ventilation
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit
• Complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required with no exemptions
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration; requests after submission will not be accepted
• No RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the hospital are subject to the local rate
• First-time travelers accepted
