Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Respiratory/Med-Surg unit on night shift, requiring current Epic proficiency and telemetry experience.
Details
- Work primarily on the Respiratory unit, which admits COVID patients
- May occasionally float to other Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation
- Night shift schedule (7p-7:30a) at 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required
- Must be able to read telemetry and will be tested on this skill on day one
- Current Epic EMR proficiency required, refresher classes or 1:1 training not accepted
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care primarily to respiratory and COVID patients
- Will be tested for telemetry competency on first day, with termination risk if unable to pass
- Termination risk if Epic proficiency is not demonstrated
- COVID-19 vaccination required
