Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Respiratory/Med-Surg unit on night shift, requiring current Epic proficiency and telemetry experience.

Details

  • Work primarily on the Respiratory unit, which admits COVID patients
  • May occasionally float to other Med-Surg units including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation
  • Night shift schedule (7p-7:30a) at 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • No on-call requirements

Requirements

  • Active OH or compact RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience required
  • Must be able to read telemetry and will be tested on this skill on day one
  • Current Epic EMR proficiency required, refresher classes or 1:1 training not accepted

Additional Information

  • Provide direct patient care primarily to respiratory and COVID patients
  • Will be tested for telemetry competency on first day, with termination risk if unable to pass
  • Termination risk if Epic proficiency is not demonstrated
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
