Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Navigator - Oncology with a Montana or compact license and prior MS-onc experience for care coordination duties.

Details

• Ambulatory oncology setting within the Nurse Navigator Oncology unit
• High proportion of neuro-oncology patients including brain tumors, neurofibromatosis, and neuro follow-ups
• Primary responsibility includes triaging incoming calls
• Provides long-term patient relations and care coordination
• Orientation includes working alongside both neuro and oncology teams
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No floating required unless otherwise agreed upon during interview or offer
• Any charting system experience accepted

Requirements

• Active RN license (Montana or Compact) required
• BLS certification required
• 3 years of RN experience required, including at least 2 years of med/surg oncology or oncology experience
• 1 year of care coordination or case management experience required
• Experience with prior authorizations preferred
• References required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include disease management, plan of care development, and utilization review
• Any color scrub is acceptable, with designated 'Blue Jean Fridays'
• Candidates must reside within a 75-mile radius of the facility
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Background checks with license or background hits will be considered on a case-by-case basis
