Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring Level I trauma experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• PICU setting at a Level I trauma facility
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:00
• 1:2 patient ratios
• Every other weekend required
• Float required between ICUs at two campuses, including NICU (Level IV), TICU, PICU, and CICU, and to general care areas if no ICU need exists
• Uses Servo ventilators across all ICUs
• RRTs utilized in each ICU

Requirements

• Active Georgia or compact RN license required, license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and PALS (AHA only) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Experience with ICU drips, medications, and vasopressors required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• BSN preferred but not required
• Previous travel RN experience required

Additional Information

• Must be available to work either the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday rotation
• Candidates requesting both holidays off will not be considered
• Nicotine-free campus with cotinine/nicotine testing required
• Med pass/fail test administered, with a second attempt allowed; failure to pass will result in cancellation
• First-time travelers are accepted if their resume reflects the required skill set
• ASAP start required
