Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience, ACLS/BLS certification, and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• ICU setting with floating required between ICU, PCU, and CCU
• Patient ratios are 2-3:1 in ICU/CCU and 4:1 in PCU
• 12-bed ICU, 12-bed CCU, and 7-bed PCU
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Experience with ventilator management and drips required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing across ICU, PCU, and CCU as needed
• Navy scrub color required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if weekend requirements are met
