Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications on a 10A-10P shift schedule.
Details
- Work in a 40+ bed Emergency Department with 120+ staff on a hospital's main first floor
- Patient ratio of 4:1 (3 rooms and 1 hall bed during high volume periods)
- Uses cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO drills, and Lifepak equipment
- Documents in Meditech EMR
- Performs IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring/interpretation
- Scheduled shift is 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active MO or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
- Two professional references required for Missouri assignments
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Must be adaptable and a strong team player
- High-pressure and previous medical experience preferred
- Outgoing, positive personality well-suited for a fast-paced ER environment
- Dress code: gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms for RNs; appropriately colored t-shirts allowed under a nursing scrub jacket or hospital-approved jacket
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
