Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring TNCC, ENPC, and CPI certifications with at least 1 year of ER experience.

Details

• Work in a high-volume Emergency Department with 40+ beds and 120+ staff
• Patient ratio of 4:1 (3 rooms and 1 hall bed during high volume periods)
• Uses cardiac monitors, EKGs, ultrasound, Belmont Rapid Infuser, IO Drills, and Lifepak equipment
• Meditech EMR used
• 13-week assignment with a 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (MO or compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, and CPI
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience required
• Adaptability and strong teamwork skills required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration (no Canadian SSN accepted)
• Two professional references required for Missouri placements
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, and cardiac monitoring/interpretation
• Collaborate with a team including CNCs, team leads, Advanced Paramedics, EDTs, MHSCs, and Secretary staff on both day and night shifts
• Outgoing, positive personality suited for high-pressure environments preferred
• Dress code: gray scrub top with black or gray scrub bottoms for RNs; appropriate colored t-shirts may be worn under a nursing scrub jacket or hospital-approved jacket
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
