Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel ICU RN for a day shift position requiring 2+ years of experience, ACLS/BLS certification, and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit with floating required between ICU, PCU, and CCU
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM with every other weekend required
• Patient ratios of 2-3:1 in ICU/CCU and 4:1 in PCU
• Unit sizes include 12 ICU beds, 12 CCU beds, and 7 PCU beds
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• No on-call requirements
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if weekend requirements are met

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
• Experience with ventilator management and drip titration required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• Valid driver's license and US Social Security Number required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing across ICU, PCU, and CCU units as needed
• Navy scrub color required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel position
• Requests for time off must be less than one week
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
