Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Coronary Care Unit Nights position requiring 2+ years of experience and Cerner proficiency.

Details

• Coronary Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Floating required between ICU, PCU, and CCU
• Patient ratios of 2-3:1 in ICU/CCU and 4:1 in PCU
• 12 beds in ICU, 12 beds in CCU, and 7 beds in PCU
• Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in coronary/critical care required
• Experience with ventilator management and drips required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Navy scrub color required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• No previous employment as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if weekend requirements are met
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
