Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Coronary Care Unit (CCU) travel position requiring vent management, drips experience, and floating between ICU, PCU, and CCU.

Details

• Coronary Care Unit setting within a hospital, with floating required to ICU and PCU
• Patient ratios of 2-3:1 in ICU/CCU and 4:1 in PCU
• 12 beds in ICU, 12 beds in CCU, and 7 beds in PCU
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Cerner EMR used

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required in the specialty
• Experience with ventilator management and drips required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to cardiac patients within a coronary care unit
• Navy scrub color required
• Blocked scheduling may be accommodated as long as weekend requirements are met
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any Community Health Systems facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will not be considered for this position
