Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN Circulator for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 3+ years of OR experience and call coverage.

Details

• Circulating role responsible for pulling supplies and equipment for surgical cases
• 9-bed operating room unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses Cerner EMR
• Day shift options of 4x10hr (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 5x8hr (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
• Call required: 3 first calls, 3 second calls, and 1 weekend every 6 weeks
• Green scrub color required

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• 3+ years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Experience in Robotics, Ortho, General, and OBGYN surgical specialties required
• C-section experience required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in the OR as part of the surgical team, working alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians
• Responsibilities include ensuring supply readiness, maintaining case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing in and assisting during surgical procedures, and supervising care delivery personnel
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
