Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and BLS certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room unit
• Schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, open to Days/Evenings, with potential consideration for four 10-hour shifts
• On-call requirements to be discussed during interview
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license (Single State or CO Compact) required
• BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certification required as appropriate for the unit or service
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in the Operating Room specialty required
• ASN required, BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical duties per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Conduct health teaching, counseling, and treatment monitoring
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Promote hospital mission, vision, and values while adhering to service behavior standards
• Returning Intermountain employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
