Description

American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN for a Level III high-risk facility, requiring an active NJ or compact license and float availability across five hospital campuses.

Details

• Level III high-risk Labor & Delivery unit
• Cares for early inductions, antepartum, and high-risk antepartum patients requiring continuous monitoring
• Float required to the High-Risk Obstetric (HROB) unit, a 16-room unit, as needed
• Float required among five hospital locations based on staffing needs
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (NJ or Compact) in hand at time of consideration, verified via Nursys dated within 2 weeks
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
• BLS certification must not expire within 30 days of the assignment start date
• 2.5-3 years of recent specialty experience within the last 12 months required
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing, completed on a PC (iOS devices not compatible), with a maximum of two attempts
• Must complete pre-employment labs within 48 hours of signing
• Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for antepartum and high-risk antepartum patients, including early induction and continuous monitoring cases
• RTO must be submitted for consideration at time of profile submission; requests after submission will not be accepted
• No RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment
• Block scheduling is not permitted
• Scrubs are provided by the hospital
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the assigned hospital are subject to a reduced local rate
