Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring an active Massachusetts PT license, 1 year of travel experience, and 1 year of home care experience.
Details
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence across the North Region, including Arlington, Everett, Malden, Medford, West Medford, Melrose, and Somerville
- Patient population ranges from birth to over 100 years old with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities
- Schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 13-week assignment length
- Requires ability to travel to patient cases as assigned
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required; license required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of travel assignment experience required
- Minimum 1 year of home care experience required
- AHA-issued certifications only
- Epic charting experience required
Additional Information
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate care
- Maintain thorough and timely electronic documentation in accordance with agency policies and standards of practice
- Flu vaccine required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates permanently residing within 60 miles of Boston are accepted at a reduced rate
- First-time travelers are not eligible due to required prior travel experience
