Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health float position requiring 1 year of travel experience and 1 year of home care experience.

Details

Home health setting providing physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence
Covers North Region locations including Arlington, Everett, Malden, Medford, West Medford, Melrose, and Somerville
Patients range in age from birth to over 100 years with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities
Schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
13-week assignment length
Requires ability to travel to patient cases as assigned
Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required if applicable; MA Conditional licenses not accepted
Minimum 1 year of travel experience required
Minimum 1 year of home care experience required
AHA certifications only
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate care
Perform thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication per agency policies and standards of practice
Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
Parking is not validated at Boston locations; public transportation or public parking lots are available with daily rates ranging from $17-$22
Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
