Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Room RN for a night shift assignment requiring a NE or compact RN license and prior ER experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting serving a population of approximately 10,000 people
• Department operates 24/7 with a physician on duty at all times
• Provides direct care to acutely and critically ill patients
• Night shift schedule

Requirements

• Active NE or compact RN license required
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
• ER experience preferred
• Current certifications required or willing to obtain: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP, CPR
• Ability to lift up to 20-50 lbs and assist with patient transfers
• Strong manual dexterity and range of motion required for extended standing, walking, and sitting

Additional Information

• Assess and triage ER patients based on history, physical exam, and chief complaint
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood transfusions, and other physician-directed treatments
• Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
• Provide patient education as prescribed by physician
• Perform wound cleaning and bandaging
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Respect and uphold tribal and cultural traditions and practices
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times
