Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a KY or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with 64 patient care areas seeing 250+ patients daily
• RN to patient ratio of 4:1 with ED Techs on staff
• 3x12 schedule, evening shift 10a-10p
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• No prior nursing experience required, though preferred
• Last 4 of SSN and MM/DD of DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans using the nursing process
• Facilitate admissions, transfers, and discharges, including patient and family education
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and delegate tasks appropriately
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Must reside within 75 miles of the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate; local candidates accepted at a lower rate
