Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position offering a 3x12 day shift schedule with weekend and holiday rotation.

Details

• Emergency Department setting with 64 patient care areas
• High-volume unit seeing 250+ patients daily
• RN to patient ratio of 4:1 with ED Techs on staff
• 3x12 schedule, 7a-7p day shift
• Weekend and holiday rotation required

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• No prior nursing experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred

Additional Information

• Deliver patient and family-centered nursing care using a holistic, evidence-based approach
• Perform comprehensive assessments, identify risk factors, and prioritize patient needs
• Implement patient care therapies and procedures within scope of practice
• Facilitate discharge processes and coordinate with Case Management as needed
• Delegate and oversee tasks performed by other care team members
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
